PEFC International, is looking for a
Communications Officer (100%). PEFC is the world's largest forest certification
system and the certification system of choice for small forest owners. More

Mission
The
Communications Officer supports the Head of Communications in the delivery of
the Organization’s communications strategy and participates in developing,
introducing, and delivering a focused online and social media
strategy.
Main tasks
· Draft, edit and
proofread text for a wide range of materials for internal and external
publication, including articles, case stories, brochures and other promotional
material.
· Optimize and promote the organization’s online
presence
· Coordinate the work of website developers,
designers, printers , and other consultants
· Update and
manage website content
Profile
·
Degree in communications, public
relations, journalism, and/or an environment-related field
· Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an international
organization within a similar position
· Very good knowledge
of online and social media
·
Strong project management skills
and able to handle simultaneously several projects
· Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
· English mother tongue is required as are excellent writing and
editing skills
