Water & Film Events, Take 3… Action! Eau et cinéma, scène 3… Action !

The 3rd edition of the International “Water and Film” Events will take place in Marseille during the 6th World Water Forum.

At this occasion, the International Secretariat for Water invites all movie directors, producers, water stakeholders, youths… and all citizens who which to express their views on water issues to participate in this competition.   The leitmotif of this 6th Forum is “The Time for Solutions”.

What better than images to show all the wonderful solutions that do exist, the local and regional solidarity actions led throughout the world, the simple idea of a man, woman or child that made all the difference or even a funny story that portrays that water is an essential issue for all human beings and its environment?  

The competition is open to all and there are no admission fees. Deadline for registration is November 30th 2011.

An International Jury will give out 16 awards (27 600 $US in prizes) during a special ceremony at the 6th World Water Forum. An online public vote for the VidéEau category will also be opened on Dailymotion a few weeks before the Forum: www.dailymotion.com/contest/videeau2012

Eau et cinéma, scène 3… Action !  

La 3e édition des Rencontres internationales « Eau et Cinéma » (RIEC) se tiendra à Marseille durant le 6e Forum mondial de l’eau.

A cette occasion, le Secrétariat international de l’eau invite les cinéastes, producteurs, acteurs de l’eau, jeunes et tous les citoyens souhaitant s’exprimer sur le thème de l’eau à prendre part à cette compétition.   Le thème du 6e Forum est « Le temps des solutions ».

Quoi de mieux que l’image pour montrer les merveilleuses solutions qui existent, les actions de solidarité locale et internationale qui sont menées à travers le monde, la simple idée d’un homme, d’une femme, d’un enfant qui a fait toute la différence ou encore une histoire drôle afin d’illustrer à quel point l’eau est un enjeu essentiel pour tous les êtres humains et leur environnement?  

La compétition est ouverte à tous et il n’y a aucun frais d’inscription. La date limite pour l’inscription est le 30 novembre 2011. Un Jury international remettra 16 prix (26 700 $US en prix) durant une cérémonie spéciale qui prendra place dans le cadre du 6e Forum.

Un vote du public est également organisé avec Dailymotion pour la catégorie VidéEau, http://www.dailymotion.com/contest/videeau2012.
