Egypt: Water metering contract goes to Sensus
Sensus, which already has a well-established, productive presence in North Africa, has signed an agreement to install 28,000 MeiStreamPlus water meters in Egypt. The innovative Class C C&I meters enable intelligent use and conservation of water resources and speaks to Sensus’ commitment to resource conservation.

Launched in Europe in 2008, the MeiStreamPlus Class C C&I water meters’ wide flow range and accuracy improves performance for bulk meter applications. MeiStreamPlus says its “advanced bearing and hydraulics design means it effectively replaces three former meter technologies, merging the high overload capabilities of Woltman horizontal and vertical meters with the low flow performance of single jet Class C meters.”
