MEDRC: RO Level 1 Hands On Training: Seawater Reverse Osmoisosi Operation, Monitoring & Troubleshooting

1. Objectives:
This training program will demonstrate how RO units work in a hands-on environment. During this training you will discover how operational parameter changes affect the performance of the plant. You will learn how to load and unload membranes, how to run basic process analysis (conductivity, pH, chlorine, ORP and SDI) and how to monitor the RO plant in order to detect potential problems (chemical attack, mechanical damage, scaling and fouling). Finally you will perform a specific chemical cleaning depending on the potential problems that may occur.
 
2. Who should attend this course:
This training is recommended for operators, technicians and all new comers to RO desalination that have completed the classroom RO Level 1 and or similar experience.
 
3. Course duration:
This course is a 4 days session.
 
4. Course instructor:
Mr. Riadh Dridi is a project manager & instructor in MEDRC. He has 16 years of experience as a supervisor / site engineer / part owner of his own business as consulting and water analysis firm/ project manager. During his 16 years experience, he worked in the design, operation, maintenance troubleshooting, consulting and costing of water and waste water treatment system, including membrane, ion exchange, sewage treatment, pre- treatment, post treatment, disinfection, pool equipment. Mr. Dridi was recently approved as Certified Instructor to deliver Mr. David Paul’s world renowned training seminars. Mr. Dridi holds a B.S degree in Geo-resources & Environment.
