International Conference on MEMBRANES IN DRINKING AND INDUSTRIAL WATER PRODUCTION
History
The conference will be the 8th Membranes in Drinking and Industrial Water Production (MDIW) conference in the series after Paris 1995, L'Aquila 1997, Amsterdam 1998, Paris 2000, Mülheim/Ruhr 2002, L'Aquila 2004, Harrogate 2007, Toulouse 2008, Trondheim 2010.
Objectives
The conference will give an overview of the most recent developments in membrane technology. This three day event will bring together research scientists, engineers, managers and operators from water supply and wastewater treatment companies, industries, government departments, consulting firms, research institutes and universities.
The theme of the conference, membranes in drinking and industrial water production, includes the treatment of groundwater, river, lake, sea and filter backwash water as well as industrial and domestic wastewaters with membrane processes i.e. reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, microfiltration and electrodialysis.
