HYDRO 2011 - Practical Solutions for a Sustainable Future

The deadline for submitting an abstract for HYDRO 2011 is 18 February.  A copy of the Call for Papers (in .pdf format) can be downloaded by clicking here.  Copies were sent out by post to our usual mailing list in December.  If you have not yet received it, or think that you are not on our postal mailing list, please let us know - confirming your full postal address.

Conference themes include: global needs and challenges, security/safety around dams, synergy with other renewables, financing, environmental and social aspects, system management, project management, sedimentation management, marine energy, and plant life extension.

The technical Exhibition which will run alongside the conference is now almost fully booked.  Therefore, if you have not yet booked a stand, but would like to display your organisation's products and services, please contact Gaël Bozec as soon as possible on: sales@hydropower-dams.com.

Please note that you should only submit an abstract if you (or a co-author or representative) can attend the conference to present the paper.  Therefore, please make sure to obtain any necessary clearance, and check your availability to attend, before submitting an abstract.  Speakers will be eligible for a reduced registration fee.  In the case of speakers from less developed countries, in some exceptional circumstances we may be able to secure financial support to cover fees.  If you would require such support to attend, then it is essential that you inform us when submitting your abstract.  Abstracts should be sent to Mrs. Margaret Bourke, at: Hydro2011@hydropower-dams.com. 

Please make sure to include a short CV (one paragraph of 5 or 6 sentences only) for every author, and your full contact details.  Please attach your abstract as a Word file (not a .pdf), which should include your name in the filename.  You can alternatively send your abstract by fax or post.  Once again, the deadline is 18 Febuary.
