Euromed Civil Forum 2008:“Living and Working together in the Euro-Mediterranean Area”
Euro-Med civil society actors will gather in Marseille from October 31st to November 2nd, the French EU Council Presidency has announced. The 2008 Civil Forum will identify specific recommendations and proposals which will be sent to the Foreign Affairs Ministers of the ‘Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean’, convening November 3-4, for a meeting co-chaired by France and Egypt.
This year's theme is "Living and Working Together in the Euro-Mediterranean Area".
Euromed Civil Forum is a platform for civil society organizations to network, discuss their role and make recommendations to governments. It has been on-going since 1995 and its budget (MEDA) is determined by each EU Presidency.
