INBO: Invitation to its 7th General World Assembly 2007

The General World Assembly of Debrecen will organize its work around four broad strategic topics for the implementation of the management of the rivers basins, lakes and aquifers: 1) Prevention and the management of the extreme climatic phenomena of floods and drought, 2) the management of the transboundary basins, 3) monitoring, inspection networks, reporting, the inter-comparison, 4) development of the programmes of intervention for the organizations of basins and their financing... A special session will be also devoted to the question of the participation of the water users and the public. The inscription to the World General meeting of the INBO is free. The whole of work is opened to all the Organization-Members and Permanent Observers of the INBO (International Network of Basin Organisations), as well as all the Administrations of water and organizations interested in the Integrated Management of the Water Resources by basins slopes in the World.
