International Conference on Climate Changes and their impacts on the coastal zone and river deltas: Vulnerability, Mitigation and Adaptation (CCIE 2007)

CCIE 2007 is a conference and forum for all people who share a professional knowledge and thoughts to issues related to climate changes and their impacts on coastal zones and river deltas worldwide.
The impacts of climate change on coastal zones and river deltas may hamper significantly the developmental and demographic security. Anticipated climate changes will greatly amplify risks to these areas. The increased sea level will cause flooding and storm damage, increased erosion of shorelines, decreased marine and coastal biodiversity, and contamination of drinking and irrigation water through sea water intrusion.
