The 6th edition of Intersol

INTERSOL 2005 in few numbers: -  110 oral & poster conferences including 51% presented by foreign companies, 450 participants including 60% of foreigners (~ 20% originating from PECO) and 47 exhibitors. As regards to the policy for the management of a polluted site, the current concern is to reduce and even eliminate the impact of pollution on people, water resources, the ecosystems and properties. Pollution control is therefore a question of industrial liabilities and medical risks, quality of life and durable development, and especially techniques and actions of investigation, modelling, comprehension, decision and treatment according to economic-land stakes and future uses. This is the approach adopted by the Scientific Committee of Intersol in structuring the content of its program on the following themes: Theme A: Regulatory and environmental context, Theme B: Management, Administration,communication, Theme C: Forensics, risks study, and Theme D: Innovating Treatments and processes.
