Workshop on capacity building for sustainable development

The Third World Network of Scientific Organizations (TWNSO) has entered into partnership with the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS), the United Nations Development Programme special unit for South-South Cooperation (UNDP-SSC) and the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies to seek out and document examples that illustrate how capacity has been built with the result that sustainable development has been enhanced and steps have been taken to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
The aim of the project is to share these successful initiatives with others in the South so that the methodologies and lessons learned from them can be replicated elsewhere.
