The ADVANCE Workshop Series
As part of the ADVANCE project, the University of St. Andrews and the Institute for Futures Studies and Technology Assessment invite interested people to a series of workshops that will offer valuable insights into the application and use of the Sustainable Value approach. The ADVANCE project is the first large-scale application of the Sustainable Value approach. The Sustainable Value approach expresses the value companies create with their economic, environmental and social resources in monetary terms. Sustainable Value is the first approach that applies opportunity cost thinking to corporate sustainability assessment, and is thus inline with corporate practice and managerial thinking. Workshops will be held in London (UK) on October 26th and Stockholm (SWE) on November 3rd and focus on the application of the Sustainable Value approach in practice. The workshops addresses a large target audience that includes, e.g. corporate environmental and sustainability managers, financial analysts and investors, NGOs, academics and policy makers. Capacity at all locations is limited to 20 participants.
