Pour ceux qui arrivent en avion à Florence, il n’est pas prévu d’accueil individuel ; vous prendrez un taxi pour rejoindre l’hôtel directement, ou bien un bus « Vola in bus » jusqu’à la gare centrale Santa Maria Novella. Pour les participants pris en charge par le SEMIDE, le prix de la course vous sera remboursé sur justificatif (Coût approximatif du taxi 25 EUR et du bus 4,50 EUR).

L’aéroport de Florence est à seulement 15/20 minutes de l’hôtel par taxi. Le bus depuis l’aéroport s’arrête à la gare Santa Maria Novella qui est à 200 mètres de l’hôtel. Vous trouverez un plan ci-joint.

Pour ceux qui arrivent en voiture, l’hôtel dispose d’un garage (tarif entre 30 et 40 EUR par jour en fonction de la taille du véhicule).

Les réunions SEMIDE auront lieu au Palais Medici Riccardi (salle Luca Giordano) qui est mis à notre disposition par la Province de Florence. Il est très proche de l’hôtel et nous nous y rendrons à pieds. Nous vous proposons de nous retrouver dans le hall de l’hôtel à 8h30 jeudi et vendredi.

Un diner officiel aura lieu jeudi soir 2 décembre dans une salle du musée de la Casa Martelli mise à notre disposition par les Musées de Florence. Si c’est le cas, la personne qui vous accompagne est également invitée à se joindre à nous. Une visite guidée  du musée (en anglais seulement) est prévue à 20h00 pour environ 30 minutes. Elle sera suivie d’un apéritif vers 20h30 et enfin le diner à 21h00. Le timing est donné pour ceux qui ne souhaiteraient pas faire la visite et arriver seulement pour l’apéritif ou le dîner. Une carte vous sera remise à l’hôtel à votre arrivée pour vous indiquer où trouver la Casa Martelli.

Practical information

For those arriving by plane to Florence, individual airport welcome are not planned; you will take a taxi to go directly to the hotel , or a shuttle bus « Vola in bus » to Santa Maria Novella central railway station. For the participants whose travels’ are covered by EMWIS, the price of it will be reimbursed to you with a justificative voucher (Approximative fare for the taxi 25 EUR and for the bus 4,50 EUR).

Florence airport is just 15/20 minutes from the hotel by taxi. The shuttle bus from the airport stops at the Santa Maria Novella central railway station which is 200 metres from the hotel. You will find a map attached

For those arriving by car, there is a garage at the hotel (The cost per day is between 30 and 40 EUR depending on the car size).

The EMWIS meetings will take place at Medici Riccardi Palace (Luca Giordano Room) that is offered by the Province of Firenze. It is at a very close walking distance from the hotel. We propose you to meet at the hotel lobby at 8h30 on Thursday and Friday.

An Official Dinner will take place on Thursday 2^nd December in a room of Casa Martelli museum offered by Polo Museale Fiorentini. If so, the person with you is also invited to join us. A guided visit of the museum (in English only) is planned at 20h00 for about 30 minutes. It will be followed by an aperitif around 20h30 and finally the dinner at 21h00. The timing is done for those not participating to the visit and arriving only for the aperitif or dinner. You will receive a map at the hotel when you arrive showing you where Casa Martelli is located.
